5/8" ROH, 5.3° Bite Angle Model 1000
Product Details
WARNING: ****THE BLADE BARBER CAN SHARPEN SKATES WITH 3/8" OF BLADE HEIGHT OR MORE. IF YOUR SKATES HAVE LESS THAN 3/8" OF BLADE HEIGHT, YOU CAN'T USE THE BLADE BARBER. GET NEW BLADES FOR YOUR SKATES!****

The Blade Barber Model 1000 is a completely new type of skate sharpener for any ice skate blade requiring a hollow sharpening.

The 5/8” radius of hollow, 5.3° bite angle Blade Barber is larger than the standard 1/2" ROH for 3mm thick ice skate blades (not for 4mm thick blades). For custom radiuses between 7/16" and 1" please send us a message and we can fabricate your custom radius sharpener for an additional fee.

Unlike other handheld sharpeners the Blade Barber actually works. If you're not 100% happy with your Blade Barber, simply return it for a refund.

positive review  I have been using this tool for a few months now. It takes a little while to get the hang of but I would like to think that I am pretty good with it now. I have 2 boys that play a lot who I am on the ice with plus I play myself. Needless to say I have been looking for something like this. It is a must have for any hockey trainer as I have repaired lost edges on the bench and the player has not even missed a shift. I have done at least 40 sharpens with mine and its still sharpening. My experience is that I still get my skates sharpened at Pro Hockey life or Play it again but rather than once every 1.5 to 2 weeks I now do them every 2 months. Fits in my jacket pocket on the bench - so convenient!
