WARNING: ****THE BLADE BARBER CAN SHARPEN SKATES WITH 3/8" OF BLADE HEIGHT OR MORE. IF YOUR SKATES HAVE LESS THAN 3/8" OF BLADE HEIGHT. YOU CAN'T USE THE BLADE BARBER. GET NEW BLADES FOR YOUR SKATES!****

The Blade Barber Model 1000 is a completely new type of skate sharpener for any ice skate blade requiring a hollow sharpening.

This Blade Barber applies a 11/16" radius of hollow and a 4.8° bite angle to a 3mm thick ice skate blade (not a 4mm thick blade). For custom radiuses between 7/16" and 1" please send us a message and we can fabricate your custom radius sharpener for a small additional fee.

Unlike other handheld sharpeners the Blade Barber actually works. If you're not 100% happy with your Blade Barber, simply return it for a refund.

positive review  This is the handiest tool ever for hockey players and skaters of any type. It fits into your pocket so easily you dont even know it's there. The surprising thing is that you get a top quality sharpening tool that's as good as any drop it off sharpening shop - really. Get two as everyone will want to use yours and eventually you will " lose" yours. Coaches throw 3 or 4 of them into the team hockey bag for a fast tune up. Highly Recommended.

positive review  My son and I have been using this device for a few months now and I really like how it works and the sharpen that you get from it. It did take a few times to feel comfortable using it. My son keeps it in his hockey bag and has used it a couple of times now when he has lost an edge on his skates. He really likes it. Great tool for a quick fix.

positive review  The Blade Barber is fantastic! It does a perfect job on my blades - better than most shops and rinks you go to where the 'kid' is working. The instructional video is well worth the watch!
