Product Details
WARNING: ****THE BLADE BARBER CAN SHARPEN SKATES WITH 3/8" OF BLADE HEIGHT OR MORE. IF YOUR SKATES HAVE LESS THAN 3/8" OF BLADE HEIGHT, YOU CAN'T USE THE BLADE BARBER. GET NEW BLADES FOR YOUR SKATES!****

The Blade Barber Model 1000 is a completely new type of skate sharpener for any ice skate blade requiring a hollow sharpening.

This Blade Barber applies a 1" radius of hollow and a 3.3° bite angle to a 3mm thick ice skate blade (not a 4mm thick blade). For custom radiuses between 7/16" and 1" please send us a message and we can fabricate your custom radius sharpener for a small additional fee.

Unlike other handheld sharpeners the Blade Barber actually works. If you're not 100% happy with your Blade Barber, simply return it for a refund.

positive review  Far better than any Sweet Stick or Edge Enhancer.

positive review  Blade Barber is a great sharpener! The tool will do as advertised and sharpen your skates as well as a machine. Follow the video before you try to use it. Apply light pressure and feel it glide down the blade. Make sure to knock out shavings between passes. The customer service is also top notch with these guys. They will help you with any problem and try their best to make sure you have a great experience. Thanks Tim Maxwell for the help and the awesome product. I will be back.

positive review  I have been using this tool for a few months now. It takes a little while to get the hang of but I would like to think that I am pretty good with it now. I have 2 boys that play a lot who I am on the ice with plus I play myself. Needless to say I have been looking for something like this. It is a must have for any hockey trainer as I have repaired lost edges on the bench and the player has not even missed a shift. I have done at least 40 sharpens with mine and its still sharpening. My experience is that I still get my skates sharpened at Pro Hockey life or Play it again but rather than once every 1.5 to 2 weeks I now do them every 2 months. Fits in my jacket pocket on the bench - so convenient!
